«Can we just go home?» Cassandra Fraiser asked her foster mother, Doctor Janet Fraiser of the SGC, exhausted after what she had just passed through after her last adventure beyond the Stargate.

«I need to talk to General Hammond and Colonel O’Neill first, Cass, you know that,» Fraiser answered, caressing one of Cassandra’s cheeks before turning to Major Carter, who anticipated her: «Don’t worry, Cass can remain here while you’re with Hammond and Ja… I mean, Colonel O’Neill. What do you say, Cassy?»

«Yeah, okay,» answered Cassandra, slightly frustrated, but obediently sitting on a stool near the main table on the science lab in which Janet had accompanied her after SG-1 had rescued her from PX9-535 and its Goa’uld false God.

«Okay, thanks Sam,» Fraiser feigned ignorance at the slip from Carter lips about O’Neill, «see you in a little bit.»
